Research Seminars

DGIM Research Within Our Walls

Research Within Our Walls seminar of the Division of General Internal Medicine, April, 2013.

The Division of General Internal Medicine has as one of its goals the increased and sustained involvement of its faculty in research and scholarship. In support of this goal we launched a new DGIM forum, Research Within Our Walls (RWOW), in September, 2012.

RWOW serves as a venue for faculty to present and obtain feedback and new insights about their work, meet potential new collaborators, spur ideas for new projects, and get help in developing abstracts, manuscripts or presentations from research. We are interested in supporting the spectrum of academic activities in which faculty are engaged, be it clinical research, medical education research, evaluation and quality improvement projects, systems redesign, or other areas. Faculty are encouraged to take advantage of the collegial setting to share their work or thoughts about work in which they would like to lead or become involved.

Seminars will be held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, 12:00 - 1:00pm in the
Ambulatory Care wing at the front entrance to Bellevue Hospital, 2nd floor Conference Room #2043

Please reach out to Ellie Grossman or Marian Anderson to schedule your presentation for one of these sessions:

Ellie Grossman, MD, MPH: Faculty Lead for Research

Marian Anderson, MS, MA, RN: Program Manager
