About the Medicine Residency Program

 

The Internal Medicine Residency Program's greatest strength is the diversity of the patient populations cared for by the residents and the exposure to three different hospital systems — municipal, private, and federal hospitals. All three hospitals are major referral centers for their respective systems, and each hospital cares for a unique patient population.  Our residents are exposed to an unusually wide range of patients and diseases, allowing them to be uniquely prepared for the next phase of their careers.
