The NYU Division of Nephrology is part of a multicenter study to "bank" kidney biopsy specimens from patients with glomerular diseases that affect the podocyte. These kidney specimens are linked to a clinical database and both the kidney biopsies and clinical information will be used to address questions that relate to these diseases.
The NYU Division of Nephrology is part of a multi-institutional glomerulornephritis consortium that will address the impact of various therapeutic interventions in randomized trials in seven different glomerular diseases.
