David Goldfarb Voted Professor of the Year by the Class of 2009 and Class of 2010

David Goldfarb, MD

Both the Class of 2009 and the Class of 2010 voted David Goldfarb, MD, their awards for Professor of the Year. Dr. Goldfarb is Professor of Medicine and Physiology at NYU. He is Clinical Chief of Nephrology at NYU and the New York Harbor VA Medical Center.

Dr. Goldfarb teaches first year renal physiology and is the director of the nephrology section of the second year pathophysiology course. He enjoys helping NYU medical students understand the arcane functioning of his favorite organ. He has been quoted as saying "I'm confused too, but at a higher level than you." Last year Dr. Goldfarb was the recipient of "The Distinguished Teacher in the Basic Sciences Award" voted by the NYU School of Medicine Class of 2006.
